So it's official! Josh and I have made an offer on our first house and the sellers accepted! After extremely long days of house hunting we finally found the perfect house. We were nervous at first because we can't move out of our rental house until the end of April so when we made an offer we said our closing day would be Monday, April 26th. But the sellers said it was ok since they have little kids and haven't found their new house yet - it was perfect!!
It's a 3 bed, 2 full bath, 2 living (tv) rooms, 2 car garage house with a full basement (my husband's "mancave"). Now we can finally have guests come visit us and we will have plenty of room!
We always said we would stay on the Missouri side (of Kansas City) but we gave in once we started looking at houses and locations. We didn't want to go too far away from our favorite areas in KC but also didnt want to give up house space so we settled in Nall Hills - Overland Park, KS. It's just south of Waldo (where our rental house is!)
So keep your fingers crossed for Friday - the day of our inspection!! If all goes well the house is ours!
