Thankfully one of my favorite holidays is over.. I had a stomach ache on Saturday and Sunday from all the candy I ate. I have NO self control with it. Everytime i walked in the kitchen i grabbed another bite! Thankfully on Sunday evening we had over 100 kids stop by! It was insane.. welcome to our suburban home. So there's little candy left and after the weekend coming up hopefully it will all be gone. We have lots of family and friends coming in to celebrate Josh's 30th Birthday! But anyway, back to Halloween..
I never thought I would be "that" girl but my husband and I were definitely "that" couple on Saturday! :) We took our puppy to a Doggy Daycare Halloween Party! Melmann stays at Doggy DayCare when we are traveling every once in awhile so of course I'm on their email list. The halloween party came across and I just couldn't resist checking it out. It was SO cute! They had tricks for treats, obsticle courses for the dogs, playtime and "bobbing for weenies". At first I thought I would just take him and spare my husband.. but Saturday morning rolled around and I just couldn't bare to be a single mom at the party. So I talked him into going with me.
My one and only is the best sport ever.. which you will soon find out after seeing all the pictures in this post. (yellow wig!)
First off.. Here's our little (big) shark. His hat fit him last week but the boy gains so much weight every week on Saturday when i tried to put it on him it wouldn't fit! So his "jaws" were around his neck instead of head. Oh well.. you get the point. He's a killer shark :)
Obviously his dad loves him because he attended the party:
For Saturday night we went to our friends, Mandy and John's, house for a crazy, fun Halloween party! I've never been to a party where there were so many amazing costumes. It was great! We got there and started drinking, laughing, meeting new people that I forgot to take any pictures (I know, crazy huh!). But no worries.. Before the party we took "family" pictures. Mainly because Melmann had to be in our pictures to "make" the costumes.
Dafni, Fred and Scooby from Scooby Doo :)
It was a fanstastic Halloween! As usual we have some crazy weekends coming up! Next weekend will be huge celebrating Josh's big 3-0. My entire family is coming in town (including the little guys) and Josh has some family visiting from AZ. And of course all of our friends will there to celebrate, plus one of my best friends from college is flying in.
We took vacation for Friday so I'm already counting down until Thursday evening and a 3 day weekend! Hope everyone has a great weekend while my hubby is busy becoming an OLD man!
