He’s finally here! Our nephew, Corbin, has finally arrived! He was born on Friday at 10:30am weighing 7lbs, 12 oz. He is super adorable and so sweet. I couldn’t stop holding him. He’s already super spoiled and he is only 3 days old :)

My entire family is Oklahoma State, while my hubby is MU - so of course my husband had to buy his new nephew a MU outfit. It was super cute though
We had a full waiting room with my sister in laws family and my family. If you know me then you know my family is LOUD! (Especially my dad and I) Well now we have a three year old and she is by far the MOST excited to see everyone. She loves her Aunt Amber and loves her dress up shoes – they are a little big and click while she walks, oh and lights up of course. She is obsessed with them so we HAD to wear them all day. Well she also likes to run everywhere so needless to say, the entire labor and delivery waiting room knew her little brother was coming and that her Aunt Amber was in charge of having fun with her. It was a fun afternoon :)
We played all day and then got to meet Mr. Corbin! After that my niece spent the night at my dads house with Uncle Josh and I. After we left the hospital we decided that we’d have an Aunt Amber/Ariana sleep over. I figured we would just sleep together in the guest room since it was a queen bed. My stepmom kept informing me that I would definitely need the king bed if I were sleeping with her so I finally gave in and took the rents bed for the evening. Around 10pm we were finally in pjs and ready to “go to bed”. (Yes, her bedtime is at 8pm.. whoops!) Well at Papa and Gigi’s house that includes two episodes of a show then lights out. So we watched Bob the Builder and then Barney. And then when she is ready to go to bed we need the following: 9 babies (with all specific names), hippo, bug, and Kroeger the stuffed cat. So my stepmom was right!!!! The bed was completely full and of course she wanted to “share” a pillow with Aunt Amber. So here I am in a king size bed with a 3 year old on top of me and every stuffed animal in Oklahoma in the bed. We finally fell asleep and throughout the night I would get a kick to the stomach or back and roll over and she would be peacefully sleeping with her cute little hands and feet all over the place. You think you would get mad that you kept getting woken up, I kept saying “you’re lucky you’re cute” but then at 8am when she wakes up and taps you saying “It’s time to wake up Aunt Amber, the sun is out!” I have completely forgotten about the kicks and just want to spend more time with her! She’s just too cute :)

We went back to the hospital on Saturday morning and spent time with my brother and family. It’s so cute seeing him with a boy! He said that Saturday morning him and Corbin had their first ESPN watching experience together. He is one cute daddy! My niece is so excited and LOVES to touch and hold Corbin. My sister in law kept saying she’s not worried her daughter won’t like her new brother but that she may be TOO loving and give too many hugs and smother him. Hehe. I love it!
