Our lil peanut

Josh and I call Addison our little "peanut" but it may be more appropriate to call her our little marshmallow.. check out these rolls and belly! Momma LOVES them! I've always wanted a chunky baby and I definitely have one! Couldn't be more in love.

Two of my other favorite people are my niece and nephew. Since Addison arrived we haven't been able to visit them as much but oh man, they just keep getting cuter and cuter! Love them. In two weeks we are headed to Tulsa for some quality family time for 4 full days!

Can't believe she'll be FIVE in June! Modeling her new tutu of course

Look at this handsome silly boy!! He'll be two in July. (Aren't you obsessed with his hair! I just love it)

Here's some pictures of the past two weeks of Addison at home. Enjoy :)

Breakfast with daddy.. i sent this to one of my best friends and she asked if Josh was hung over.. no, he wishes. He's just a sleepy daddy of a one month old! haha

Don't judge.. yes that's ALL my food. I'm feeding a 10 lb one month old! Give me a break!

 Chillin like a villian

"Gosh mom hide the panies!"

pretty in pink

Momma's first glass of wine in 12 months! Hooray!

"Oh my gosh daddy you're so embarrassing i can't even look at the camera"

"Milk makes me so happy (please excuse the high-water pants. One day I'll show mommy how to dress)"

Aren't I cute :)

Sorry dad, find your own pillow - this one is taken!

"Why is Melmann's head so big?! "

"ahhh my nap nanny is so wonderful"

Our lil turtle LOVES bath time! She'd stay in the tub all day long. Like momma like daughter!

Sleepy Sleepy momma and baby

 Cutie!

This is how she feels about taking pictures :)

 Tummy Time!

If you don't have a moby wrap; you're missing out! We love it.

Happy Weekend!

Love

I love being a mommy! It's been a great few weeks. I can't believe it's already been almost 6 weeks! Miss Addison is getting big quick. I've learned to cherish every day.

The past few days/week she has started to really change. She is extremely content all day looking around and hanging out. She still loves to be held but doesn't mind hanging out on the boppy or nap nanny so I can get a few things done around the house too. (I'll post more pictures next time - they are all on my camera and not on the computer yet!)

She's already grown out of newborn clothes. 0-3 month size fits her great. She's quite a chunk! She's got the cutest rolls :) She's one healthy eating baby! She's now finally eating every 3 hours instead of 2 so that's helped a lot! She sleeps at least 4 hours and most nights 5 hours now! I feel human again with that much sleep in a row. I'm getting at least 7-9 hours a night so I'm back to normal... at least as "normal" i'll be for the next few years!

This past weekend two of my best friends from college came to visit! We spent lots of time cuddling with addison, shopping, and then Saturday night we had a girls night out. It was so much fun! We went to Snow, a frozen drink place, and then to Melting Pot on the Plaza for some fondue and wine. Josh and our buddy had a daddy/daughter night. It was much needed and a blast but honestly hard to be away from my girl for that long (6 hours!). I was ready to get home after our night out.

My friends left on Sunday and our family spent the rest of the day on Sunday sleeping, including the dogs! We were all worn out!

On Friday evening our good friends had a gender reveal party. Baby Falkenberg is a BOY!! So excited for Kristin and Chuck. It was a great night celebrating with good friends. Now it's time to start planning her baby shower. They both played soccer in college so i'm thinking a baby boy soccer theme!

BLUE!!!

The next few weeks are pretty chill. We are going to the Titanic exhibit at Union Station and just hanging out. We have a very busy May so this is much needed down time!
