Showers of love, friends, family, happiness and baby presents!

My first baby shower was in Tulsa (where I grew up) and was hosted by my stepmom and sister in law. It was just fabulous! All my OSU girlfiends, high school best friend, family and family friends! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better shower. We had some excellent food, a few games, and more presents than I knew what to do with! Addison is one spoiled little unborn baby girl :)

My second baby shower was in Kansas City and hosted by my dear friend, Kristin. We had a great turn out (over 20 girls!) of all my girlfriends where I live now. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and again, so many presents for our daughter! I walked out of that shower having every item we needed from our registry. We are so lucky to be spoiled by such sweet friends and family.

It's really hard to believe I'm 32 weeks pregnant now... EIGHT months!! Not that we aren't ready; trust me we are ready! I just can't believe someone will be calling me mom in a month. But I love it and can't wait for the day! She's an active little girl, i feel her kicking and squirming around my tummy a few times an hour. She can sometimes get a bit aggressive too! She's getting stronger and stronger, which is great! We need her healthy in a few short weeks! My mom and grandma delivered all their babies a month early so I'm a bit worried she may be coming earlier than due date. (But no worries... you know I'm already organized and ready for that to occur!)

This week we are taking a "Babymoon" (get it? Honeymoon?!) Yes it is cheesy BUT it's well overdue! Josh and I thought it'd be good to get away and have some alone time before baby and family consumes our life for a few months :) We are headed to Westin, MO to a  Bed and Breakfast. My doctor won't let me travel so we had to compromise and pick somewhere close. It doesn't matter to me though, it's still a getaway!
