If you know me then you know I have to be doing something at all times.. it drives Josh nuts :) He could sit on the couch all day long watching golf, me on the other hand couldn’t sit for an hour watching golf.
One of my biggest hobbies is scrapbooking. Yes I know… it’s kind of dorky BUT you know what, I will have the best memories later in life so I don’t care. I do it all online so after an event I update my scrapbook program and I’m done. At the end of the year I print it off. I have a scrapbook for every year since 2003.
So anyway, Scrapbooking is fun and all but I wanted to do more so… my new hobby is photography!
I’m really excited about it. I got a new camera (thank you Josh, I promise it was worth the money!) and I’m going to take photography classes at night. I want to be THAT mom that doesn’t pay for professional photography and can do it all by herself.. Wish me luck! Here's my new toy:
The guy at Best Buy started going over how much the lens and accessories cost to go with the camera in the future. I made sure we were in and out of Best Buy quickly. I just need the camera now, no need to scare my husband of my new hobby... at least not yet!
If you see my scrapbook then you’ll know that I won’t be slacking on photo opportunities. I always have a camera at hand.. now it’ll just be a nice, good quality one. The other night I practiced on Kroeger, our cat. Needless to say he wasn’t too excited about me adjusting his paw on the couch to look cute. I’m looking forward to practicing at my good friends wedding this weekend and then my new nephew in a few weeks! Babies are the perfect target.. poor Corbin has no idea what Aunt Amber has in store for him!
