This past weekend was great, although my hubby was working in Atlanta the entire weekend. The good news is it was the only weekend we are apart all summer!
On Friday 3 of my girlfriends and I did happy hour. We started on the plaza at a sushi place then went to a bar we love, The Well. It was a lot of fun to catch up and have a few drinks!
On Saturday morning I flew to Texas for my stepbrothers wedding. It was a quick trip, Saturday morning to Sunday morning but it was worth it. I got to spend time with everyone I love.

Any weekend I'm with my niece it's a good weekend :) She is growing up SO fast. She loves her Aunt Amber... maybe because she knows she can get away with anything. When we are together you may not get much time with me (Ask Josh!) Here's us at the hotel:
It's finally getting warm in KC! When I got home on Sunday it was 90 degrees! I decided to take advantage and lay out for awhile. It felt great, summer has finally arrived!!I can't wait for Thursday! I haven't seen my husband in 8 days. We both get home on Thursday and then we have 10 days together in KC. Since Monday is a holiday we have vacation and then we work remote in KC, so no traveling. We are going to relax and have fun!
On Friday our friend, Sara, is planning a couples night. Three couples are going to dinner on the plaza and then:

Hooray! Can't wait!! I'm sure the guys will pick another movie or just drink on the plaza while we are in ours.
Then on Saturday we will probably go to the lake with our friends for the day. Other than that, we are just hanging out in KC and enjoying the sunshine!
