Easter Fun

Last weekend my two favorite kiddos, niece and nephew, came to KC to spend some time with us. It was a crazy fun filled weekend.

Friday - They arrived late so we hung out catching up and hugging the babies :)
Ariana LOVES our cat, Kroeger, and he's a pretty good sport with kids too.

Saturday (7am) - a 3 year old woke Josh and I up by jumping on the bed saying "Aunt Amber, donuts, Aunt Amber donuts" so of course we roll out of bed and headed to donuts.

When we got back to our house we opened easter baskets so that entertained the kids for the next few hours while my sister in law and I went shopping for a few hours.
Corbin and his singing lion (you're welcome Scottie and Lauren!)

For lunch we all met up and ate at the train restaurant (train delivers food, highlight of a 3 year olds life)

My nephew is a spitting image of my brother when he was little. If my mom were alive I'm sure she would say the same thing!! He's precious and has a "to die for" smile. Seriously all weekend i would just look at him and make a silly face so i could see that smile!

After lunch we headed to "Monkey Bizzness". It's an inflatable toy playground that adults can play with the kids (which was awesome!!). My sister in law went to visit a friend in KC while my brother and Josh went to our friends house, Chip, to make homemade beer so it was Aunt Amber time with the kiddos! Thankfully my mother in law tagged along and helped :) Plus my mother in law is tiny and outgoing so we took turns playing on the toys with Ariana while Corbin slept and played with his toys.

My kids are going to have the best grandma ever! Teri and Ariana going down the slide for the 6th time:

After playing it was ice cream time!

We came back to our house and had an easter egg hunt!

Corbin loved the eggs after the candy was gone :)
I think she thought she needed all the skittles and M&Ms in one bite!!
Who needs candy when we have a basket!!
Corbin loved Melmann

Then we decorated easter eggs!

We cooked dinner on the grill with everyone and enjoyed some much needed family time!
Best buddies: (How cute are they!)

Corb also loves his Uncle Josh (One of my favorite pic from the weekend)

And then it was off to bed at 10pm!

On Sunday my family had Monday off work so they decided they'd go to Great Wolff Lodge and spend the night there for a mini family vacation. We've heard a lot about this hotel and I was pretty excited to see the indoor playground/water park. Words can't even express how sweeeeet this place is! My brother, sister in law and I had as much fun as the kiddos!! It was amazing! I'll let the pictures explain how cool it was. (Slides were AWESOME!)

I hope you enjoyed my picture overload of a blog post! As you can see we had the best time! This weekend we enjoyed dinner with some great friends, Lucas and Amanda, and then we went to drive go karts! It was amazing - the go karts go 45 mph!!!! It was crazy and so much fun! (And who said go karts are for kids!) It's now Saturday morning and we are waiting for my parents to arrive in KC. We are planning on spending time with them all day doing nothing!

You'll also be happy to know, Melmann is fully recovered from his surgery and he no longer needs his goofy cone! hehe, but i just have to add one more picture! Happy weekend!
