On Sunday we decided to do a lazy day, I mean REALLY lazy! We laid on the couch the whole day and watched the entire Season 3 of Dexter. (I’m completely obsessed with this series on HBO!). It’s so good!

I think our cat had the best day though, he would sleep an hour with Josh on the couch then switch to an hour with me. (Although I think he laid more with me, what can I say, he’s a momma’s boy!
We’re already half way through Season 4 now. Season 5 starts in September and I’m already ready. If you haven’t even seen it, you should start on Season 1!!
On Monday we went miniature golfing and spent time outside, it was beautiful in KC! (Finally the rain has passed – hopefully!)
Then Tuesday was a big day for me.. dun dun dun… We became “official” Kansas residents! We got Kansas licenses and car tags. I’ve had 3 different state tags in the past 5 years, hopefully this is the last one for the next few! (Yes, it took me 2 years to change my Oklahoma tag to Missouri) Good news is though, Kansas is like Oklahoma – you only need one car tag so the “Oklahoma State” front license plate is back on the car! (Josh was excited.. haha) after that adventure, (4 hours at the DMV – shoot me now!) Ma and Pa Mead came over for a cookout. Josh is becoming quite the pro on the grill :)
If any of you want to get in shape like Josh and I, you should try Insanity. It’s a 12 DVD workout. I’m sure most of you have heard of P90x, well this is the intense version. It has an appropriate name, it is INSANE! The guy leading the workout is Shawn T and by the end of the workout I’m usually cussing him out. We have a love/hate relationship! We are almost done with week one and we really like it. The first two days though I’ve never been so sore, ever! It was crazy. So by the end of the summer you may not recognize the Meads, if I can’t stop eating chocolate and diet coke. Hmm.. yeah, probably not going happen with my job :) So maybe we’ll just be more in shape!

Ready set go.. Summer fun begins. Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day holiday!

Sounds like a great weekend! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dexter. We watched seasons 1-3 back to back last year....pretty intense. We could only watch 2 episodes at a time so I dont know how you did it! And I might be borrow the intensity workout after Mason is born! Love you Miss You!
